曼哈頓高樓築巢住十年 紅尾鷹的家被拆 保育心痛
一隻住在紐約上東城第五大道一棟高級大樓屋簷的紅尾鷹，在那裡住了將近10年來 ，不但成了紐約另類景點，他的生活紀錄還被拍成紀錄片。不過7日這隻老鷹被強 迫搬家，引起市民和保育人士痛批。
大約兩年前曾在電視紀錄片中見過牠們一家。
Saw a TV documentary on the family about 2 years ago.

At the strong protest of bird-lovers, the management of the building agreed to let Pale Male nest again at their property. They would install guards to stop rubbish falling from the nest.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER BIRDS OF A FEATHER
A red-tailed hawk known as Pale Male (right) watching his mate Lola fly in to land on their nest on the cornice of a Fifth Avenue apartment building in New York.
Workers removed Pale Male's nest this month in a move that outraged bird lovers, including the actress Mary Tyler Moore, who lives in the same building as the hawk. Pale Male has lived on the 12th floor perch since 1993.
