This has caused severe disturbance to the waterfowls that were roosting and feeding in the pond, also, this would cause inconvenience to other birdwatchers. Hundreds of waterbirds are feeding and roosting in gei wei situated in the Mai Po Nature Reserve everyday. In order to prevent any disturbances to the birds, we have already erected notices at the entrances of some roads that accesses to the far end of the ponds to remind birdwatchers not entering there to reduce the human disturbances on birds. Hope you can co-operate with us to protect the birds in the Reserve.
