Dear all,
The 9th Kadoorie Brothers Memorial Race

We would like to invite you to participate in the 9th Kadoorie Brothers Memorial Race, which will be held on Sunday 21 December 2003 at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG). The Race is held in memory of the Kadoorie brothers, Lawrence and Horace, who made tremendous contribution to the set up of KFBG.
The race course is 5km long and rises steeply up paved roads through various sections of KFBG, finishing at the summit of Kwun Yum Shan (552m). It is a tough but rewarding uphill race. We enclose an application form and a programme relating to the event for your reference.
In addition to participating, we also welcome your family and friends to come to KFBG to support the event. To facilitate our planning, please fill in all sections of the attached application form and return to KFBG on or before 15 November 2003. Entry for the Race is limited to 150 participants, so in the event of oversubscription, eligibility will be determined by KFBG on a first-come first-served basis. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information about the Race by 29 November 2003. 第九屆嘉道理兄弟紀念跑

第九屆嘉道理兄弟紀念跑將於二零零三年十二月二十一日（星期日）假嘉道理農場暨植物園（本園）舉行，我們誠邀閣下參與這項一年一度的賽事。本活動旨在紀念對創辦本園作出宏大貢獻的羅蘭士及賀理士嘉道理兄弟。
賽道全長五公里，沿陡峭的上山車路進發，途經本園多處地方，以觀音山山頂〈552米〉為終點。這是一項富挑戰性和令人極為滿足的競賽。現隨信附上參加紀念跑的報名表格及程序表，以供參考。
此外，我們更歡迎閣下的家人及朋友前來打氣，支持賽事。為方便統籌工作，請於 二零零三年十一月十五日或之前填妥並交回報名表格。參賽名額只限150名，若報� W人數超過限額，將以「先到先得」的原則定出參賽名單。本園將於二零零三年十� @月廿九日前向成功報名者發出通知書。如有疑問，請致電2488 4481向喬建欣小姐查詢。本人期望閣下能夠參與這次饒有意義的競賽。
