Nice photo! While I am figuring out how to take inflight shots, I wonder if most birds in "duck pond" are captive or not. Griffin.

Excellent photo. It's not a Wigeon, though; it's a male Teal coming out of eclipse plumage. In answer to Griffin, there are no longer any captive birds in the Waterfowl Collection. Geoff Carey

Nice one! Looks a bit oversharpen though. Tried several times to access the duck ponds, but its always locked; even the balcony inside the education center. Its appears that the ducks know the area is closed. They all gather inside Appears to me that most of them are wild.

| Geoff, thanks for your correction. This bird was taken in broadwalk hide and should not be the captive bird, I believe. Cheers, Daniel
