I think that this is a juvenile Alexandrine Parakeet. There is a red patch on the shoulder which is a feature of Alexandrine (and not in Rose-ringed). The iris is pure white with no eye ring (darker in Rose-ringed). Also the bill is very massive. The bill colour may also be different, but I am not sure how this applies to juveniles. However, this is an interesting record as it is almost certainly a locally bred bird - there are very few confirmed breeding records of the feral parakeet population in HK. Best regards Mike Leven
