http://kite.center.kl.edu.tw/vbb/attachment.php?s=&postid=178081 273 Chestnut Bulbul 栗背短腳鵯 Tai Po Kau 大埔滘 Jul/2004 Lieca R9+800mm f5.6 NPH ISO400 + Coolscan 5000 1/45s Thanks for K.K.'s advice! I took this photo in the dark forest. The film could produce more detail on the dark side of the bird. K.K., I need to learn more from you.

Thomas, Was this full frame? I was expecting the grain will be less than as is in this film. Perhaps it's just the scan ... Try using fill-in flash next when shooting forest birds. You will see a big jump in image quality. KK Hui ARPS www.geocities.com/kkhui_001

| Hi KK, It is about 60% full frame. I changed analog bule gain -0.19, green gain +0.12, Brightness +30. I don't like use the flash with birds because some birds may be attracted by the flash and then fly away, and the flash will change the color nature. Thanks for your reply! Thomas Chan.
