In addition, he quoted records from Cheung Chau as indicating it was also a passage migrant. BLee Logged BLee Captain Guest Re: Night Heron 夜鷺大爆發 « Reply #10 on: Sep 22nd, 2004, 5:03pm » Quote Modify Remove A regurgitated Koi from Night Herons nesting at the Stonecutters indicates that these birds fed in urban ornamental ponds.     As most NH obs in Kln are come from Kln Park, so it is reasonable to guess they come from there.   Pls see a paper in HKBR 1998 for detail.   Also, most departure flights of NH heading the West Kln direction, so they may end up at the Stonecutters.   Unfortunately, they nested on Little Green Island this yr. So, it is still reasonable to guess that some of them still fed at Kln Park.   However, there is no rigorous study on their feeding habitat and movement.
