Yes, I think I have cropped too much... But they were so far away..... To be honest, I thought the pictures will be totally unusable at the time I take them because I can hardly see anything in my viewfinder. But quite surprised to see that at least there are some details in the birds, though they are still very small...

| Hm...........so the resolution of 1Dmk2 is very good since the image can be seen with highly cropped + stacked converters.

Daniel, I suspect the 20D would have similar resolution since its pixel count is the same. You also don't need to crop as much due to its larger crop factor... Want to try one some day....
