Common Buzzard is generally pale, although plumage of Common Buzzard can be highly varied.   Underparts - Colour of underwing coverts, breast, belly are warm rufous. Although Common Buzzard also varies in plumage, it would be either in pale brown (like tea with milk) or very dark.   Lack of dark carpal joint patch - Common Buzzard has a blackish patch on the carpal join.
