However, the color of your photos is a little bit strange. The bird should look darker in the field.   Usually, Spotted Eagle is being seen at the high sky. The far away distance and backlight conditions make us difficult to see its color clearly. However, we always id it based on its wing shape (sudden narrowed wing depth near the body), the proportion of its head, wing depth & tail (0.5:1:0.5) and its white U on upper tail coverts. Yes, it was in backlight condition and always on the high sky.
