Little Ringed Plover -juvenile

Headed back over to Lamma yesterday with Guy who had seen a small group of plovers. There were 6 birds in the group and this is one of the juveniles. They camouflage very well in the sand and you can't see them until they move. 11th,September,2005 Lamma Island,HK Olympus C-7070wz plus Swarovski ATS80HD scope and 20-60x zoom with DCA adapter. iso 100,1/320sec,comp 0.0 (magnification 2.2x in the camera,20x in the scope) http://www.pbase.com/neilfif11/image/49108119.jpg
