but also incredible if looking at the photo of a chick with its parent. hard to imagine after few year, he can have the long red legs.

They don't need a few years to grow those long legs. Birds' young develop much faster than humans. They will have long legs in less than one year.

I think I see 3 in the photo. When I was there on Friday I saw these three running around but one seemed to be always seperated from the other two. Neil.

yes it's 3, just the "key bird" I mentioned is quite hard to see that most people always miss it.
