Title: Please help to id it! Post by Forrest FONG on Apr 29th, 2003, 8:44pm Below is a message received by HKBWS asking for bird id. Anyone please help! ;D I found this bird in a shop in Taiwan. It looked so unusual that I bought it. Can you identify the bird so I can better look after it? Title: Re: Please help to id it! Post by Forrest FONG on Apr 30th, 2003, 8:53am Below is the reply message from Shan Lung received this morning: 8) Thank you very much! Long tailed broadbill I felt so sorry for that bird when I saw it in the shop that I bought it wanting to give it a better life. I wished I did not. While that bird may live better, the fact that it was bought may doom many others of its kind in that those people may continue to trap it in the wild. Thanks again Shanlung |
