For the first photo, could it be the Invisible Rail (Habroptila wallacii) of Halmahera in Indonesia? A good record at Shatin Pass! ;)

It should be a photo showing an invisible "Invisible Rail'. :o

Maybe the first photo belie your identification about the bird.
In fact,it is just a male Emerald Dove.You can see the following photo. :P

Also,the second photo is a Blue-winged Minla and not the bulbul. ;D

Please stop using yahoo.com (us.f1.yahoofs.com) to store your photos for displaying at the BBS. >:(

The photos could be seen by yourself only but not for the others. :-[

I can see the 1st bird photo clearly, no kidding! It seems the bird is "The Emperor's New Bird". 8)
