Location: Kwun Tong
Time: evening
It was far and dim, when this bird flew up, another bird alike flew up simultaneously, heading the same direction.

All acceptable shots were included in this composed picture,  please kindly help identify, many thanks.

我認為係鳳頭鷹(黃咀 ,一間間的尾)
牠有多大?

我覺得象赤腹鷹Chinese Goshawk多D，因為佢蠟膜好橙，喉嚨又無紋，條尾睇起來好方。 ;)

Hello Etta,

I can't read the Chinese, but I agree this is a Chinese Goshawk. On adult males the red eyes and yellow/orange patch at the top of the bill are distinctive.

Dear John,

Thanks for your identification. Here also attached William Bill Clark's identificaiton as follow for reference.

"The pics are quite blurred, but I can see some field marks. What I see is an adult accipiter. The wide dark tail bands limit it to Besra or Crested Goshawk. Another field mark is short primary projection, again pointing just to these two species. It does not have a crest and therefore, is most likely an adult Besra."
