This is a Grey Plover, based on bill, large eye, general coloration and broad supercilium.

Another interesting identification challenge is the smaller wader with the long bill underneath the Grey Plover.

Who can tell what this is?

Answer in 1 or 2 days

Based on the grey tune of the plumage, the bill lenght and colour, a Grey-Tailed Tattler?

First winter Common Redshank

- dull orange yellow on basal 1/2 of both mandibles, weak eyestripe and supercilium, whitish eye ring, general mid brown tones.
