It is so hard to ID the warblers :P :P :P

13/12/2004
EOS 10D, 400/5.6, Heavy Cropping

Pallas's Warbler?? Can't see its waist in this picture, some other pictures show white or pale yellow waist.

Dusky warbler? (just a wild guess....) Notice the ring on the right leg.

Let me try the first one ;D
#1 Pallas's Leaf Warbler 黃腰柳鶯
1)obviously yellow crown stripe
2)White fringes on tertials
3)two white wing bars
4)stand on tree
5)black bill
6)extra small in size (guess by the leaf and branch)
7)a bit of yellow at the rump

Don't laugh too loud and teach me if I am wrong ;D

#2 Dusky Warbler 褐柳鶯
1)It's brown and no stripe on wings
2)bill proportionally thinner than Radde's Warbler
3)the end of lateral crown stripes not "Nike" shape ;D ;D

don't kick me if I am wrong ::) ::) ::)

Excellent photos by the way. Shows the colour of both warblers very well! :D
