This bird flew into my kitchen. I went to take photos of it and it was not scared of me. Instead it hopped closer to me. Is it a wild bird or has it escaped from its cage which will explain why it isn't scared of me? Please help me identify it!
BTW, its got a lovely call. Sounds a bit like those squeeze toys.

It is a Hill Myna, a popular cage bird in Hong Kong. It's most probably an escape bird.

Thank you for identifying it!

My mother put her hand out and the bird hopped on so we quickly bought it to the balcony so that it can fly away. Although now that I know it's an escape bird we should have let it stay in our house and ask the neighbours if they were missing their bird!
