Title: Possible Falcated Duck at Mai Po today?
Post by Neil on Apr 13th, 2006, 8:24pm
We saw this duck fly into the other end of 16/17 around 12.00pm today. Similar color to a Common Teal but bigger.  Could it be a Falcated duck? Neil

Neil,

I can confirm that it was the Falcated Teal as I watched it for a long time from the bank of pond 16/17 from around 12:30 pm to 1 pm.   According to the WWF record, the Teal was also seen on April 10.  Ian, hope it loves Mai Po and stays for a few more days. :)
