Mai Po 17.04.06

I think it is a female Japanese Yellow Bunting but I am not sure. Would experienced birdwatchers please give advice?

This is indeed a Japanese Yellow Bunting, and almost certainly a female. The plain greenish head and white eye-ring are the key features, with males having brighter underparts and dark lores.
