Title: Red-Necked Phalarope (record only)? Post by Neil on Jun 8th, 2006, 5:19pm Not a good photo I'm afraid as it was a long way out on the mud this morning in poor light (as usual). If this is a Pharalope then it is the first time I've seen one feeding in mud . Neil. Title: Re: Red-Necked Phalarope (record only)? Post by Mike Kilburn on Jun 13th, 2006, 6:02pm HI Neil With that plumage yu have no choice - it can onlybe a Red-necked Phalarope. It is unusual to see them feeding out of water, but not unprecedented. Cheers Mike K |
