Please help me identify this bird.

It's a Great Barbet - often heard but not so often seen in Tai Po Kau.

See pages 138/139 of the "The Birds of Hong Kong & South China".

Dave,

Thanks for your reply!
For old Chinese version is in P.132/133.
It's tail is green in the book. Why does this one's tail
is brown?
