Title: Re: ¤ö¦í¡§¹ª«¡¨ªºÅà ¡H Post by miket on Sep 11th, 2006, 5:53pm I realise this almost certainly isn't an answer to your question, but for the benefit of those who may not read Chinese, the bird in the photo is a Laughing Gull Larus atricilla - second summer I think (or maybe third?). As for the mussel species - I guess that's what it is - I haven't got a clue. Mike Turnbull |

Title: Re: ¤ö¦í¡§¹ª«¡¨ªºÅà ¡H Post by miket on Sep 11th, 2006, 10:33pm It looks like we can see the gull's foot outside the shell on our side, but I wonder if it isn't trapped inside the shell-fish, the latter having closed suddenly as a survival method. Just an idea. Mike Turnbull |
