這隻是普通鵟嗎？牠翼下和尾部的淺色部份與普通鵟頗相似，但是翼卻不是長而平行的。牠明顯比附近盤旋的麻鷹小約五份之一的，也與麻鷹近距離交手，並且不逃避退縮。

據我所見維園附近係有普通鵟的
這隻也可能是

A real mystery photo!

Not sure what's been asked/said so far, but I'll just say, "Yes, almost certainly", on the basis of relative proportions.

Thanks Mike. I was lazy. So, I only wrote in Chinese.

We saw it flying in the sky above the Victory Park. Its tail and its size/shape attracted our attention. Sorry, our camera was a poor (and very basic) 10X DC. I was not prepared to take photos of bird flying the sky. So, I could not have enough time to switch it to a preset for this purpose. I could only use +2EV and auto focus. The auto focus was really very slow. So, only this single one shot could be taken before it "flew away" (actually TOO HIGH OR FAR AWAY) in that half minute.

We could see more detail than the camera photo. Anyway, we could be 90% sure it was a Common Buzzard, including its four-fifth size when compared with Black-eared Kite. But by comparing with others' photos in this forum, others' photos showed longer and less pointing wings. Their photos shows wings like long rectangle. But the bird book showed similar pointing refernce drawing. So, I raised this query.

It flew with Black-eared Kite, just like the one we saw at Lung Fu Shan.

LUN also stated that he did see Common Buzzard flying in the sky of that region.
