Title: Hainan Blue Flycatcher in Ng Tung Chai Post by Mike Kilburn on Nov 28th, 2003, 9:46am This morning was again productive in Ng Tung Chai. Along with some good winter birds the big surprise was a pair of Hainan Blue Flycatchers seen well across the river on the left hand path from the big archway. All birds were seen between this point and the village. Grey Treepie (h) Grey-chinned Minivet - 1 Daurian Redstart - 1 male Lesser Shortwing - 2 singing Red-tailed Robin - 1 Red-flanked Bluetail - 2 Grey-backed Thrush - 2 males White's Thrush - 1 Mountain Bush Warbler - 2 Asian Stubtail - 2 Yellow-browed Warbler - 3 Pallas' Leaf Warbler - 2 Hainana Blue Flycatcher - 2 Pygmy Wren Babbler - giving three note call Hwamei - 3 Cheers Mike |
