Title: Re: Chung Mei 涌尾 Post by TH_Kwan on Feb 10th, 2004, 8:46pm CHUNG MEI 涌尾 is situated between Bride's Pool and Tai Mei Took along Ting Kok Road. You can see a rectangular stone marked 涌尾 at the junction between Ting Kok Road and a side road leading to a car park. You can bird at the two picnic sites around that junction looking for thrushes. Then you can go to the other side of the carpark which leads to a trail that brings you to the water front. Birding along the creek to find the Plumbeous Redstart and wagtails etc.. The Lesser Shortwings and Red-flanked Blue Tails were seen in the bushes to the left of this trail. You can go there either by bus or by private car. I guess any bus going to Bride's Pool from Tai Po should be appropriate. Hope this is useful to you. Good luck. ;) |
