A wonderful day birding at lots of sites:

Tai Mo Shan:

12 White-vented Needletails

Kap Lung:

1 Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo

Mong Tseng Village

2 Swinhoe's Minivet
50 Ashy Minivet
27 Grey-faced Buzzard
2 Oriental Pratincole

Kadoorie Farm 9

1 Chestnut-bellied Rock thrush (male)

Ng Tung Chai (1640 - 1815)

1 Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo
1 Red-winged Cuckoo
3 Blue-and-white Flycatcher
2 or 3 Mountain Tailorbird

Plus three Spoon-billed Sandpipers, five Nordmann's Greenshanks and other waders from Mai Po boardwalk!!!

Also at Sha Tin Pass , there have 5 Grey-faced Buzzard , a male Orange-headed Thrush , 3 Blue and White Flycatcher (2M1F) , 3 Narcissus Flycatcher (2M1F) , 2 Grey-backd Thrush (1F1M) and a female Red-flanked Bluetail .
It was a excellent day . :D

With also a Japanese Paradise Flycatcher (male) and a Ferruginous Flycatcher at Taipokau earlier, with 3 Grey-faced Buzzards noted.

+ less interesting records

- 1 Yellow Bittern at Fung Lok Wai and over 1000 Barn Swallows on 26 Mar

- 1 Red-rumped Swallow / 2 red-necked Phalaropes at Nam Chung fishponds on 3 Apr

- 1 adult and 2 newly fledged juvenile White Wagtails at Ngau Tam Mei on 4 Apr

Today at Tai Po Kau

-Japanese Paradise Flycatcher, male (w/ elongated tail)
-Narcissus Flycatcher, male
-Blue and White Flycatcher, male n female
-Mountain Bulbul
-Japanese Thrush, male n female
-Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo (heard)

Ng Tung Chai 8 Apr

- Narcissus Flycatcher x 1 (male)
- Hodgson's Cuckoo (heard)
- Red-winged Crested Cuckoo (heard)

Wo Keng Shan, near NE Landfill 6 and 7 Apr

- at least 4 Savannh Nightjars (two seen)
- 1 Slaty-legged Crake (heard)

Kowloon Park 7 Apr
Japanese Thrush x 1 (male)
