Although numbers of waders spotted were low, a good number of migrants was noticed. A Black-naped Oriole (Female or Juvenile) was seen by nealy all the participants. A Black -Shouldered Kite was also photoed by a participant. Listed below was the species 1 Cormorant 2 Purple Heron 3 Grey Heron 4 Chinese Pond Heron 5 Little Green Heron 6 Little Egret 7 Great Egret 8 Intermediate Egret 9 Yellow Bittern 10 Yellow-nib Duck 11 Shoveler 12 Teal 13 Garganey 14 Black Kite 15 Eastern Marsh Harrier 16 Black-shouldered Kite 17 Crested Goshawk 18 White-breasted Waterhen 19 LLittle Grebe 20 Black-winged Stilt 21 Curlew 22 Black-tailed Godwit 23 Wood Sandpiper 24 Greenshank 25 Marsh Sandpiper 26 Curlew Sandpiper 27 Spotted Dove 28 Lesser Coucal 29 Pied Kingfisher 30 Common Kingfisher 31 Black-capped Kingfisher 32 White-breasted Kingfisher 33 Yellow Wagtail 34 Crested Bulbul 35 Chinese Bulbul 36 Siberian Stonechat 37 Magpie Robin 38 Plain Prinia 39 Arctic Warbler 40 Asian Brown Flycatcher 41 Japanese White-eye 42 Rufous-backed Shrike 43 Black Drongo 44 Black-naped Oriole 45 Azure-winged Magpie 46 Jungle Crow 47 Black-necked Starling 48 Yellow-fronted Canary 49 Spotted Munia 50 Redshank 51 Koel 52 Yellow-bellied Prinia 53 Great Reed Warbler 54 White Wagtail Total 54 species We were very happy to noticed that more than 10 Asian Brown Flycatchers were spotted today.
