the birds we saw today:
Grey-cheeked Fulvetta  白眶雀鶥
Mountain Tailorbird (sound) 金頭縫葉鶯 (聲)
Dark-sided Flycatcher 烏鶲
Grey-headed Flycatcher   方尾鶲
Black-naped Oriole  黑枕黃鸝
Siberian Thrush (female)  白眉地鶇  (雌)

but Black-naped Oriole & Siberian Thrush (female) saw by one poeple only ......

Tai Po Kau, November 15, 2004 14:30 to 16:00

I met two bird waves this afternoon.  
The 1st one was big.  I saw Silver-eared Mesias, Rufous-capped Babblers,  Japanese White-eyes, Minivets, Yunhinas, Nuthatches, Ashy Drongo, Warblers  etc. on the main road before the Orchard.  They were very energetic, once came down to eye level.  

The 2nd wave was seen by the bridge before the picnic area no. 3 (at the split of Red and Blue walk).

A Chestnut-crowned Warbler was seen twice.  

The first sighting was seen at picnic area no.2.   It was in a bird wave with a flock of Warblers, Flycatchers, Great Tit ...etc.  

The second (not sure if it was the same individual) was seen with a Chestnut-flanked White-eye in a bird wave, with majority of Japanese White-eyes, Warblers.   Minivets, Blue-winged Minla,  Silver-eared Mesia, Rufous-capped Babblers...etc. were also in the wave on Red & Blue Walk.

(with brown crest, buffy yellow supercilium and throat, white underpart with brownish streaks at flank. Seen following bird wave at tree branch at forest edge adjacent to the main gate of orchid)

This morning (Tues 21st Dec) a White-spectacled Warbler was found in a bird wave on the Red walk. Also present was a Mountain Bush Warbler and not much else!
