Altitude: 450m – 930m

At 805m (N22 24.500’, E114 07.636’):
5 Chinese Bush Warbler
1 Sliver-eared Mesia
2 Red-billed Robin

At 822m (22 24.458’, E114 07.607’):
3 Vinous-throated Parrotbill
2 Large Grass Warbler

At 828m (N22 24.393’, E114 07.470’):
2 Richard’s Pipit
1 Crested Bulbul

At 900m (N22 24.543’, 114 07.527’):
2 Vinous-throated Parrotbill

At 915m (N22 24.618’, E114 07.546’):
2 Yellow-bellied Prinia
1 Chinese Bulbul
1 Great Tit
1 Chinese Francolin
1 Violet Whistling Thrush

沒有拍到靚雀相，只好拍些大帽山實景照

Dear Simon,

May I ask 2 questions?

1. How did you ascertain your detailed coordinates (it's quite impressive)? What instrument did you use - and where could it be bought?

2. For the Chinese Bush Warblers, which species (latin) are we talking about?

Maybe Mountain Bush Warbler, I heard the call yesterday.

牠們在儲水房附近的樹林裡，叫聲有4個音節第一節較高和持續2-3秒的wrr-whuchiuchi，比較過日本CD和香港其他林區在春天都可以聽到，似乎是短翅樹鶯 Chinese Bush Warbler Cettia canturians
