Can you be more specific as to where the yellow-bellied tits are seen?  I don't know where the camphor tree is!  Is it on the approach to the village, behind the village... I am familiar with the area but have never had much luck there.  Do you walk up to Sha Lo Tung from Plover Cove Road?  Thanks!

Can you see Two big stones on a junction at Sha Lo Tung? The stone on left hand side is to Hok Tau Reservoir. The right side is to Ping Shan Chai.

Hi Gary,

How many male Yellow-bellied Tits you have seen?

George,

I saw a flock of them, definately more than 10 but not sure how many as them keep in the dense canopy of the Camphor tree. The number of male is lesser than female/juvenile. I'm sure I've seen three, but could be more there.

I saw the yellow-bellied tit at the same and nearby location as George indicated.
When you go along the trail from Sha Lo Tung to Ping Shan Tsai, you will encounter a junction point with a stone signage. Left side to Hok Tau, right side to Ping Shan Tsai (also reach Hok Tau finally), after passing the junction point for 1 minute, you will soon encounter a samll stream. At that location, there are some Comphar trees of different size on your left handed side. The yellow-bellied tits are around the area.

Also, I found the wooded area along the stream in Ping Shan Tsai is good for migrant.
