It is interesting to see a photo on the other forum showing a Magpie standing on its catch of a fish.

I subsequently looked up some reference about the bird and found that fish is not among its common food list that includes beetles, fruits, seeds and small vertebrates. However, the list concludes with the remark that it eats all kinds of carrions, refuse and domestic scraps. After all, it is categorized as a "very opportunistic feeder". So, that makes the photo more interesting. ::)
