Title: Monkeys at Tai Po Kau Post by Lynx on Jun 6th, 2004, 9:21pm This morning (6/6/04) I saw a group of 4 monkeys climbing around the trees in the eastern side of Picnic Area No. 2 in Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve. Are they the normal residents of the reserve? Will they catch the juvenile birds in the nest as food? |

Title: Re: Monkeys at Tai Po Kau Post by Koel_Ko on Jun 7th, 2004, 3:51am The monkey population in TPK has grown, and some individuals are rather bold. I was on the blue road in April when one sprung from a vertical trunk to another past me and another friend, virtually knocking us over. A source of potential risk to pay attention to for all users of the area, I think. 8) |
