An injured “Collared Scops Owl” was found at the Freight Terminal of the Airport yesterday evening. It was sent to AFCD's Animal Management Centre at Sheung Shui for treatment.

【本報訊】一隻未成年、長約六吋的領角鴞（ Collared scops owl ）貓頭鷹（圖），前晚八時許，疑在赤 [立魚] 角機場貨運站上空飛翔時，不慎撞及硬物受傷倒臥貨運站對開路面，一名姓陳熱心市民發現將牠撿回家中，其後將牠送交上水動物檢疫中心，獸醫經檢驗後證實牠一隻翼折斷，頭部有少許受傷，健康情況仍有待觀察。

其實是隻夜鷹。
That was in fact a nightjar.

近來報紙登D受傷雀嘅雀名經常有錯，不明解 ??? ;D

I would be disappointed if no-one in AFCD can tell the difference between an OWL and a NIGHTJAR; - they've had "Conservation" in their title for a few years now.

I think it's a GREY NIGHTJAR ; - there should be a few of them on migration in autumn.
