Title: Fishing Nets over Siu Lek Yuen River 小瀝源河的漁網

Two fishing nets are found over Siu Lek Yuen River on 24.10.2004 at about 5 pm. Since the nets are mounted much much higher than the water level, I suspect the nets are for bird hunting.

Nets higher than water level sure will trap birds feeding or drinking in this part of the river. Everyday, egrets, kingfishers, wagtails & sandpipers come here for food and water. Thanks KW for reporting. Hope more birders of this area will go & check.
