While driving on the Luk Keng Road yesterday afternoon, (it was low tide), I saw about 4-5 people wading in the channel and on the mudflat around the island egretry. That isn't the first time. Is that permitted ?

Is there anything that can be done to stop it as it is very disturbing to the egrets and herons breeding?

Thanks for the report. Birds and their nests are protected by the laws of Hong Kong. If you see people disturbing them please report immediately to AFCD.
