We are looking for ecovolunteers to assist Crested Ibis(Nipponia Nippon) and its habitat conservation, research, and ecotour in Qinling Mountains, the paradise of wildlife.
You can find the Qinling Mountains in one of the most biologically rich temperate forest in the world and a very important landmark in China. There are 3000 species of plants, 140 species of mammals, 338 of birds, and 77 of amphibian and reptile. The slopes are home to a number of the world¡¦s endangered animals including over 293 Giant Panda(Ailuropoda melanoleuca), 4000 Golden Monkey(Rhinopithecus roxella-nae), 5000 Takin(Budorcas taxicolor bedfordi), and 600 Crested Ibis.
Crested Ibis (Nipponia Nippon) is a very rare wading bird, one of the most endangered Aves in the world today, Yang county in Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi province,China. is the last habitat of Crested Ibis.
Working with the crested ibis, helping to maintain their eco-habitats and also working to protect the indigenous wildlife including the Giant Panda¡AGolden Monkey, Golden Takin, and other 330 birds¡K
