Wonder if SHK has counted the number of kingfishers at Sham Chung.

Besides nesting at river/pond banks, hollow tree trunks or tree holes, termite and ant's nest, can anybody advise whether the kingfisher group build their nest on tree or not?

Kingfishers don¡¦t build nests of sticks or plants. Instead, they nest in burrows that they dig into dirt banks, tree cavities, or old termite mounds.

So the cover is a misleading story after all
