I would like to know which birds are the most common in HK.

That depends on from where you are looking.

In urban areas, you can usually find the following birds, especially at parks:

Chinese Bulbul (白頭鵯)
Crested Bulbul (紅耳鵯)
Spotted Dove (珠頸斑鳩)
Black-eared Kite (麻鷹)
Magpie Robin (鵲鴝)
Tree Sparrow (麻雀)
Black-collared Starling (黑領椋鳥)
Crested Myna (八哥)
