Dear Webmaster,

I am wondering if you would consider posting a disclaimer on the top of the main page of the BBS. The disclaimer, in both English and Chinese, to say something like "the views expressed on this BBS are not neccessarily those of the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society"

It is becoming more common to find disclaimers on open BBS

Thanks for the suggestion.

I think it is understood that messages posted at this BBS do not necessarily represent the official views of the HKBWS. In addition, all BBS members have agreed to observe the rules (http://www.hkbws.org.hk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=;action=register) of this forum when they first register.

Nevertheless we will review the need and decide whether a disclaimer is necessary.
