Talk: Waterbird Survey and Conservation in China

The speaker, Mark Barter, has been voluntarily carrying out waterbirds counts in China since 1996. He has always worked closely with the central and local government in China, helping to train up government staff and university students on how to identify waterbirds and conduct surveys. This presentation is organized by the Department of Biology and Chemistry in association with WWF, and will be held in City University. Besides WWF members, general public are welcome to participate. Seats will be allocated in first-come-first-serve basis.
