Dear HKBWS members,

Discovering Mai Po on 21st May 2006

In order to increase the public awareness about wetland conversation, WWF is going to organize “Discovering Mai Po” on this Sunday, 21st May 2006.

Up to now there are more than 70 pax will join this function, and the playground outside the bird ringing hut, Education Centre, Visitor Centre & Round-table boardwalk will be occupied by visitors & different booth for interactive games.

(Visitors will only access Visitor Centre in PSFSC, AFCD pathway, tower hide, Education Centre, Round-table boardwalk & Bird Watching Hide 1)

I feel very sorry if this function causes any disturbance for your birding in Mai Po during this weekend. And we are welcome if you would like to use any infrastructure, e.g. washroom, boardwalk, birdwatching hide, on that day.
