This is to alert members that a bogus website ("http://members.tripod.com/winnie_the_john/") was found. The website looks very similar to the official website of HKBWS, with the same logo and contents which are copied from our website. It is also found that the website requests for personal details and credit card information.

Please be clarified that HKBWS has no connection with the bogus website.

We have reported the case to the Hong Kong Police today.

Anyone who has provided personal information to the website, or has conducted any financial information to the website should contact the Commercial and Technology Crime Hotline of the Hong Kong Police (2860 5012) and HKBWS (2377 4387 or hkbws@hkbws.org.hk) immediately.
