A flock of Daurian starling is found at the playground of Yin Kong.

Hi Kwan,

Just from the photo, it looks like a Chinese Starling instead of a Durian Starling. Its grey color bill, no black pattern at the neck, the shape of the white pattern on the wing......

The photo did not show the back nape spot and actually it is not easily visible in the field. My own observation of the flock show the birds has variable bill color too.

It is a Daurian Starling. White-shouldered (or Chinese) Starling has white iris.

Please just click on the Messages / 訊息 at the tool box or the Instant Message / 即時通電 at the Information Centre 資料中心 and you will go to the Instant Message folder. Within the Instant Message folder, you can send or receive your personal messages to/from other members. ;D
