Amazing ! Could you tell how close is the bird when you took the photo and what equipment you was using.

I saw the bird two times, but the cloesest distance was at least 30 to 40 feet away.

The photo was taken with a Canon 600mm f4 lens, the distance was 8-10 metres.  It was busy feeding on maggots from a pile of dead fish by the edge of a fishpond.
