Title: Re: Oriental Pratincole ???? Post by Mike Kilburn on Mar 11th, 2003, 9:58am Nice photo! KK Oriental Pratincole is a regular spring migrant, arriving from early March with passage continuing through April and May in to June. There is also passage in autumn, however they have been recorded in every month of the year. The best place to find out information about Hong Kong birds is the Avifauna of Hong Kong, produced by various membersof HKBWS. It is an excellent refernce work to find out about distribution and abundance of all Hong Kong's birds. Also you help to support the work of the Society when you buy it! You can buy it from the HKBWS office. Mike |
