It really shows how you can make a relatively common bird look stunning

Thanks Bob for the kind words ...

I too like the dynamic wings position of this Grey Heron. It has been one of my goals to make a common bird looks 'uncommon' through my photography. The other example is the Great Cormorants shots I took late last year posted here at the BBS.
