A wonderful photo KK

However it is a Black-faced Spoonbill. You can tell because the black facial skin is connected to the eye.

Because of the high quality of the photo you can also see the yellow crescent just infront of the eye. This is skin, not feathers.

If this wasa European Spoonbill the eye would be completely surrounded by white feathers.

It was the same bird as shown in my original shot. It's not easy to see clearly the minute details and tell-tale sign therein because of the web size presentation of this photo! ;D
