Hi Daniel

Nice pix, but I think this is a Long-toed Stint. I could onlysee the second and third px, but I assume it is the same bird.

Why?

Pale leg colour - Little Stint has black legs

Chestnut cap - Little Stint is a more uniform brick red on the head in spring plumage and no supercilium.

Ground colour of breast band - Spring Little Stint has the same reddish colour as the head.

I'm sure there are more features buthtese three main ones stood out.

Mike,

I have re-examined other shots and find that the legs are in pale color rather than black, though over 2/3 of them were enfolded in the water. Thks for your correction.
