Impressive shots, 648!;D ;D ;D

In response to xyz_ps comment, I've taken the liberty (hope 648 doesn't mind!) to re-post the first shot after some PS adjustments for shadow/highlight, color balance and usm. The focus on the original seems perfectly okay to me.

Post processing of an image is as vital as taking the picture itself when it comes to digital photography ...

GOD! What an impressive shot!!!  :o :o :o

Although personally I don't think bird-photography should be sort of "the bigger the better" (though possibly clearer) ~, this series of Kite is really impressive to, likely, everyone who wish to pursuit a higher standard of bird-photography.

I wish i can take photos as good as yous guys someday. Cong. 648 !!  ;D

Yes.

And usm, UnSharp Masking, is an useful sharpening filter tool in PS. The name usm comes from the traditional reprographic film process whereby a light, unsharp negative version of the negative is sandwiched next to the original positive during exposure hence increase the edge sharpness. In PS the 'same' process is realized using digital technique via software program. ;D
